The Role
As the Analytics Engineering Manager at OnePay, you will lead a high-performing team focused on transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. Your work will directly impact our product, marketing, and business operations by ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. You will.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics engineers responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytical models.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Operations to deliver scalable data solutions and reporting.
Establish and champion data best practices, governance, and quality standards across the organization.
Drive the design and optimization of our data analytics infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Oversee analytics project prioritization, delivery, and stakeholder communication.
You Bring
7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
Advanced expertise in SQL, Databricks, and dbt
Experience architecting and scaling data transformation pipelines in a modern cloud environment.
Strong understanding of analytics best practices, including data modeling, testing, and documentation.
Track record of collaborating with multiple stakeholders (product, engineering, marketing) to deliver data-driven business impact.
Experience leading and developing high-performance technical teams

Tools We Use
We use Node and TypeScript on the server, leveraging the NestJS framework within a microservice-oriented architecture running on Kubernetes and AWS. On the client side, we build and ship product features for iOS, Android, and web platforms using React Native. We also embrace AI-assisted development, so engineers have their choice of Claude Code or Cursor to fit their workflow. While you don't need experience with our exact stack, familiarity with modern software engineering practices will help you ramp up quickly.
